Mission Moment (Monday, July 16, 2012)
“We had the opening of the second year of the Hope Sewing Center with 25 girls and women on Sunday, July 16,” reported evangelist Haseeb, the founder of Save Pakistan. “We started this sewing center so we can train desperate, illiterate (women) as well prostitutes to learn to make suits to make some money to feed their families.
“In Pakistan, a lot of poor families who have girls in their families, don't have money to feed their children and sell their girls. This way they become prostitutes. Some women (also) become prostitutes because their husbands are drunkards.
“God opened doors through Save Pakistan to start the sewing center with eight machines. A was rented for 14 months, teachers hired, machines purchased, and students came to work very hard three days a week to learn tailoring. The teachers worked all day, teaching two classes, one in the morning and one in the evening. The problem is that each lady trained is sharing a machine. Many more machines are needed, desperately.
If you would like to purchase a sewing machine for this ministry, the cost is $100. You’re your support to Climbing For Christ, c/o Save Pakistan “Hope Sewing,” P.O. Box 16290, Rochester, NY 14616 USA.
