Fifty-nine students attended the first meeting of this chapter on Feb. 15, 2005. Fourteen new members were recruited after Gary Fallesen's presentation on Climbing For Christ and several dozen others signed up for more information from chapter coordinator Johnathan Esper. Esper graduated in May 2005 and was succeeded as chapter coordinator for one year by Rebecca Maynard. On July 21, 2008, Craig Beck volunteered to lead the chapter, planning his first event for Aug. 17. Craig was succeeded by Bill Wos on Nov. 18, 2011.
