There are nearly 50 children cared for by Nepali partner ministry SARA outside of Kathmandu. We support SARA and these children through Project 1:27, which is based on James 1:27 (“Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.”). This relationship started in 2011. Mission: Nepal teams have visited the SARA Children’s Home nine times, including our Mission: Nepal 2016, Part 1 team.
