How long have you climbed? Growing up in Colorado, I have loved the beautiful mountains He created all my life. Type of climbing you do: Hiking. Highlight of climbing career: Brown’s Lake outside of Fort Collins, CO.
How long have you been a Christian? All my life. Type of ministry you are blessed to serve in: Children’s Ministry, Youth Ministry, and Missions.
Favorite Scripture verse (and why): Romans 1:16: “I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes…” As I continue to mature in my faith, this verse has been powerful for me. I have become more confident in sharing my faith and want to do my job as a Christian to share this with others by the way I live.
Special “God moment” you’d like to share: My dad and I went on a trip to India together. We booked our flights with no other plans and left the rest to God. It was amazing to watch as God laid out the plans He had for us and we ended up in a remote village able to serve and provide medical care together. I had wanted to go on a mission trip with my dad since I was a young girl. I am looking forward to sharing this experience with him once again.
What does Climbing For Christ mean to you? Climbing For Christ is close to my heart because it is an organization I fully trust to give support to, knowing that whatever I am able to give will go directly to reaching the lost, unreached, and underreached “until all have heard.” I appreciate that through C4C indigenous missionaries are set up to continue the work that is started so that His name continues to spread in between visits from C4C members.
