Mission Moments: Uganda
New Year’s resolution in Uganda

Pastor Rich Friday of Hope Mission International Ministries finished 2013 on his latest crusade into the Rwenzori Mountains in western Uganda. “I was invited to preach just a day after finishing my 40 days of prayer and fasting,” Pastor Rich said. “The Lord led me to go into a deeper prayer and fasting seeking His Face to strongly empower me getting ready for the great Gospel mission.
“I will complete this year 2014 making crusades all over Mount Rwenzori. I have a strong desire to (deliver) Jesus Christ to every area of the Rwenzori.
“The Spirit of the Lord is crying out to the lost souls, so my heart is after souls, to preach the Gospel without ceasing. There is no time to rest while souls are perishing day and night.”
Amen, brother.
Pastor Rich, a Climbing For Christ member since August 2012, said “pastors of the Rwenzori had prayed for many years, asking God to raise a person who will bring revival to the mountains. They had even lost hope, but they are now glad to see that God has heard their cry and sent me there. They thank God for Climbing For Christ to fund this mission.”
Evangelism in the Rwenzori Mountains will continue in February. To support this effort, send donations to Climbing For Christ, c/o Mission: Uganda, P.O. Box 16290, Rochester, NY, USA. Or CLICK HERE to give online via PayPal.
