“It is finished.” – John 19:30
Great God and Savior,
We lament the millions of laboring souls throughout Hinduism. Many have their afterlife (or next life, rather) on their minds continually. That is a good thing. It is good that Hindus are concerned with how their actions today will affect their lives tomorrow. Yet, the idea of being good enough and doing good enough to merit a better life puts them on a vicious cycle that will never end. They can never be good enough. Only You, Lord, are the One who could rightly say, ‘It is finished.’ Thank You, Lord, for the finished work of the cross. We desperately desire others – Hindus from around the globe – to experience that finished work, too. So on the final day of this prayer series, we ask with one focused voice, reach and touch and speak to our Hindu neighbors. Save them, Lord. Send Your Holy Spirit to point them to Your truth. Send Your sons and daughters, Lord, to deliver the greatest of Good News with them. And save many! We know that is Your heart. So we pray boldly, knowing that Your will will be accomplished, on earth as it is in heaven.
In JESUS’ name, amen.
