Adrianne Michele

Adrianne on knife ridge to Gray’s and Torrey’s in Colorado.

Nationality: American. Occupation: Government worker. Missions with C4C: Morocco 2015 and Nepal 2012.

How long have you climbed? About 13 years – since I’ve known Chris (her husband). Type of climbing you do: Hiking, mostly. Colorado Fourteeners (once Chris took me on a Level 3 section and I survived!), Appalachian trail and similar. Highlight of climbing career: Skooching across the knife ridge on my way up to Gray’s and Torrey’s peaks (see Level 3 reference above).

How long have you been a Christian? 26 years. Type of ministry you are blessed to serve in: Various, depending on need and opportunity; church coffee was very rewarding.

Favorite Scripture verse (and why): Psalm 37:4: “Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.” Once you get to the “delight” stage, your desires become so aligned with His, it’s an unbelievable joy!

Special “God moment” you'd like to share: God has such a masterful plan, and we rarely recognize things when they’re happening – yet, when we look back, we see that he’s prepared us and cleared the way for incredible things, like the opportunity to go to Morocco in 2015.

What does Climbing For Christ mean to you? It’s an opportunity to break out of my comfort zone and combine two things I love: mountains and Jesus!
