How long have you climbed? Four times. Type of climbing you do: Trekking. Highlight of climbing career: It was great and entertaining.
How long have you been a Christian? Since 1999. Type of ministry you are blessed to serve in: I am an evangelist and a singer.
Favorite Scripture verse (and why): Ephesians 6:12. “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.” This verse reminds me of wrestling not against the flesh and blood. These two cannot submit to God as it only pulls a person to hell. On the other hand, be fully advised to wrestle against principality, powers, rulers of this darkness and spiritual wickedness. From this I get a sense of loving sinners, knowing that it is not them choosing to be sinner, but by the force of the darkness. It is from that we can win many to Christ.
Special “God moment” you'd like to share: Receiving Christ. Why this moment? Because it is the time at which somebody completely changes his or her destination. On Jan. 27, 2014, I saw the great working hand of the Lord as many broke into rivers of tears, crying on top of their voice, asking for God's fever. And it was too much to me; I had no chance to control the Spirit of the Lord at work. To Him only be the glory. God humbled me as I was invited to share the Word with secondary students. God gave me a little word to share. I didn't know it was enough to bring one to Christ. Surprisingly, 15 students received Jesus to be their Lord and Savior. What a wonderful moment. It was my prayer to yield more lives to God this year. To me, I came to accept Him when (Pastor) Duncan and other friends organized a night of prayer. It is an unforgettable night to me. The past history was cleansed in the blood and remembered no more. Thank You, Jesus. I went there just to pass time. To the contrary, the message rained to the deepest part of my life until I came to confess my past and accept Him into my heart. I want to thank Duncan for accepting the call so that many might come to Him.
What does Climbing For Christ mean to you? It means the opportunity to preach the Gospel to Africa and the whole world.
