Megh Bdr. Gurung

Megh on Mission: Nepal 2013 in front of a church in Nepal’s Mid-West that he and Climbing For Christ helped build.

Nationality: Nepalese. Occupation: Worker to expand the Kingdom of God and guide leading trekking teams all over Nepal and Tibet. Missions with C4C: Nepal 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 (although Climbing For Christ was introduced to Megh in 2008).

How long have you climbed? Ten years. Type of climbing you do: Trekking. Helping Climbing For Christ when teams are in Nepal and doing the follow-up for those who are saved through C4C.

Highlight of climbing career: C4C is a unique organization and breaking the hearts of those who are dying on the spiritual side. Reaching among the nations, opening hearts, hands, the way, gates and heaven.

How long have you been a Christian? Since 1991. Type of ministry you are blessed to serve in: Reach out to unreached places.

Favorite Scripture verse (and why): John 14:6. “Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’” I converted through this verse so that it is my favorite verse.

Special “God moment” you’d like to share:  I would like to share a special God moment. I never thought I would get to Humla, but I have been to Humla with C4C teams. Humla is in the Far West of Nepal so God opened the door through C4C.

What does Climbing For Christ mean to you? Empowering to fulfill the Great Commission in Nepal. Planting churches in different places in Nepal. Help for the helpless people in Nepal.
