Mission Moments: Peru
Opportunities Abound
Jaime Servat, C4C’s missionary to Peru, recently shared about the Lord’s work from the month of June. Here is a brief synopsis from his latest report.
Jaime has been busy not only preparing for the Mission: Peru 2015 team’s arrival (on July 13), but preparing the church in Chalhua as well. Brother Jaime has made multiple trips to Chalhua to bring a few final materials and round up workers. Finally, this long-awaited project is nearly completed! Our prayer is that the building will be finished and the mission team will be able to help dedicate the new church to the Lord and celebrate with the body of believers in Chalhua.
In addition to building up the physical church, Jaime had several opportunities to build up the spiritual church as he’s ministered the love of Jesus to several people in the area.
“One day I was going to the building [of] a new believer from Mascho (a village near Chalhua) to visit Almaquio, who I prayed [to] God last year and he was healed by God when he was sick on a bed,” Jaime recalled. Almaquio asked Jaime for prayers for his wife, Andrea, who had “broken her coccyx and she [was] suffering pain.”

Jaime also ministered to Andrea’s sister, Maltilde, “who is suffering leg pains,” he wrote.

Would you please join Jaime and us in prayer for Andrea and Maltilde? In addition, please pray for the church in Chalhua and Mission: Peru 2015. (CLICK HERE for the Mission: Peru 2015 Prayer Bulletin.)
