Re-starting the chapter with a pair of Prayer Peaks

New coordinator Keith Schultz jump re-started the Cascade Chapter with climbs of Colchuck and Dragontail Peaks on June 26-29, 2008. Keith was accompanied by his 12-year-old daughter and four brothers in Christ. The group participated in the 11th annual Prayer Peaks Day, founded by Climbing For Christ board member Derek Fullerton of Colorado. Originally, Keith intended to attempt Mount Rainer, which he has summited several times. But unseasonable cold caused a change of plans for this “beginner’s trip.”
