Western New York 2017 Heritage hike #2
Heritage hike is for the birds

No fooling, more than two dozen people attended the second Climbing For Christ/Heritage hike at Mendon Ponds Park on a cold, rainy April 1st. Event organizer Diane Sturmer noted that hikers came from Buffalo and all around Rochester, even though the weather was for the birds.
“Out on the trail many enjoyed the chickadees landing on their hands to enjoy some food,” Diane reported. “New friendships formed and old friendships were renewed.
“Larry and David Mills (from the Buffalo area) shared their gifts of music with us and Gary shared stories of hope (from C4C’s Pakistan Project 8:36).”

The next Heritage hike is the annual Adirondack Adventure, scheduled Tuesday, Oct. 10 at Moss Lake.
