Ann Marie Pavone
Ann Marie with her husband Jim during the making of the movie 'King's Faith.'
Nationality: American. Occupation: Assistant to the Associate Pastor at Hope Church. Missions with C4C: Nepal 2012 and 2015.
How long have you climbed? Trees? Since I was 6 or 7. Type of climbing you do: Do stairs count? Highlight of climbing career: Knowing that the best is yet to come!
How long have you been a Christian? 11 years. Type of ministry you are blessed to serve in: I’ve had the blessing of serving in many ministries her at Hope. I’ve really enjoyed assisting in making a movie last summer geared toward teens! Watch for King’s Faith in theaters hopefully by 2013. I also enjoy adult education and leadership training as well as women’s ministries. I hope to become more involved in Flower City Work Camp next year as well as Junior and Senior high ministries now that my kids are at that age!
Favorite Scripture verse (and why): “Be still and know I’m God” (Psalm 46:10). In any difficult situation, I am comforted when I step back and say this verse. I am reminded that He is in control.
Special "God moment" you'd like to share: I love looking back at various times and situations in my life and seeing God’s hand. The times He has protected me, provided for me and what He has done make things work out for good (although I don’t always see it in the moment). It brings me comfort and security to know He’s got my back!
What does Climbing For Christ mean to you? It means a group of brothers and sisters in Christ who are excited about going to places where others may not, to share the love of Jesus. I am really excited about being a part of this mission and seeing the blessings that will abound!
