Delivering the Word in the face of danger
Mission Moment (Friday, Sept. 28, 2012)
Haseeb with a mountain of Bibles.
Evangelist Haseeb purchased 900 Urdu Bibles thanks to the financial support of Climbing For Christ members and his Save Pakistan ministry is in the process of distributing the Word to “the hungry and thirsty people.”
In the past 11 months, Save Pakistan has received enough help from Climbing For Christ to acquire 1,525 Urdu Bibles, which are being used to “reach out to the needy people in Pakistan,” Haseeb said. “We are really thankful to C4C, its members and supporters, who have very soft heart to sow their seed in the harvest of Pakistan. You will see the result thousands of souls who will come to the kingdom of God through delivering the Word of God.”
“So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” — Isaiah 55:11 (NKJV)
Haseeb asks that we “please keep praying for the Save Pakistan team” as they minister in a climate that is “dangerous right now due to the movie 'Innocence of Muslims,'” which has outraged the Muslim world.
Despite the danger, Haseeb said, “Our Christian brothers and sisters are waiting for the Word of God and we have to reach them with the Word of God at any cost. It could be a risk, but we will never stop spreading the Word of God in the end of my breath.”
“I can do all this through him who gives me strength.” — Philippians 4:13 (NIV)
