Mission Moment: Pakistan

We kicked off a “Helping Hands” e-appeal in June with Pakistan, where our brother and ministry partner, Evangelist Haseeb, stands strong through the storm of persecution to deliver the Good News. Haseeb had asked for $500 to hold a baptism event for many new believers, and additional funds for the purchase of Bibles in the Urdu language to give to these and other believers who do not have the Word.

Mission accomplished!

Three Climbing For Christ members responded and more than $600 in support was sent. Haseeb reports:

“I delivered the voice of God, which the Lord put in my heart to share with them: the importance of baptism. ‘The one who believes and is baptized will be saved; but the one who does not believe will be condemned’ (Mark 16:16).

“The Lord touched their lives and they responded to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then we baptized 24 new believers, one by one. After it, some people arranged some sweets to share their happiness with us.

“We handed out the Urdu Bibles and Urdu Worship Books to the believers for their personal study and for their growth in Jesus Christ. Everybody was very joyful to receive their gift of Urdu Bible and Urdu Worship Books. It was an incredible service and I praise God for His love upon His people in Pakistan.”

We praise and thank God for continuing to use C4C to help minister to the lost and hurting in a country of 188 million that is 99.3-percent NON-Christian. We desire to continue this work by supporting brother Haseeb and his ministry, Save Pakistan, by funding the delivery of Bibles and Worship Books. A Bible costs $7 and a Worship Book can be printed for $2. Haseeb has a desire to deliver 1,000 of these Worship Books. Please pray for His protection and His provision for the work in Pakistan.
