One devotional that’s often used during our missions refers to it as the “could have been Good News.” The Gospel that doesn’t “get there in time” becomes a message of truth and love that could have brought salvation to a soul. God is passionate about getting His Gospel out to all people of all nations! He wants the lost to hear about and understand their need for His love, His grace and His mercy through His Son in their lives. Since our initial expedition to Peru in May 2011, God’s work has continued to go on. Jaime Servat (Climbing For Christ’s missionary to Peru) has worked tirelessly to preach the Good News in the remote areas of the Andes Mountains and to reach out to as many lost souls as possible. Our goal is to join in the harvest in a few of those villages, where we will pray and search for opportunities to witness to the lost, encourage our brethren, and bring glory to our great God through all that we do.
