Duncan Nyozani

Duncan oversees an orphanage supported by Climbing For Christ's Project 1:27.

Nationality:  Malawian. Occupation: Pastor. Missions with C4C: Kilimanjaro* 2010 and 2011, and Malawi 2014, 2016 and 2017.

How long have you climbed? Six years. Type of climbing you do: Trekking. Highlight of climbing career: I have been climbing Mulanje Mountains for a few occasions. I remember a few years ago when we went in a group for fasting; it was a very wonderful time with God's interventions.

How long have you been a Christian? Since 1999. Type of ministry you are blessed to serve in: I serve as a pastor of Searchlight Ministries, and I enjoy my gifting of teaching.

Favorite Scripture verse (and why): John 3:16. Because God showed us His everlasting love.

Special “God moment” you'd like to share: The time I will not forget is when I got saved in 1999 during a crusade. As a boy my life was bad and I started joining bad company of friends. But thank God that He saved my soul and called me into a ministry.

What does Climbing For Christ mean to you? To me, this means a ministry empowering us to reach people with the Gospel to the unreached with the love of God.

* Mission: Kilimanjaro 2010 and 2011 included trips from Tanzania to Malawi, partnering with Pastor Duncan and his ministry, Searchlight Ministries.
