'How-to' training leads many to Christ
Mission Moment (Monday, Oct. 29, 2012)
"It is always a great blessing for me to hand out the Word of God to those people who are in great need and struggling to get it," Evangelist Haseeb said after returning from last week's Bible distribution. "Our Christian community in Pakistan is in persecution and known as 'low standard.' But always they have the passion to know more about Jesus Christ. The Lord makes me able to reach out to those people who are hungry and thirsty about the Word of God."
Haseeb said he was invited to a prayer meeting in a village where his mnistry, Save Pakistan, had worshipped and prayed. He shared about "How We Can Come to Jesus Christ."
"Everybody responded and accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior," Haseeb said. "Then we distributed 55 Urdu Bibles to those who were in great need, but could not afford it. They promise to read the Bible every day to know more about Jesus Christ, and were thankful to God as well as C4C for providing the precious Word of God."
Haseeb and Save Pakistan are currently on another mission to distribute free Bibles. He asked for prayer support as he was GO-ing.
"We are thankful to C4C, it's members and supporters, who are helping us to serve in Pakistan through providing Bibles to the needy people," Haseeb said. "You are always in our prayers that Lord keep you safe and bless you all to keep working for the glory of God. Please keep praying for more Bibles for new believers in Pakistan."
