Mission Moments: Malawi

CHRISTmas in Malawi

The sponsors of the Project 1:27 orphans in Malawi sent financial gifts and messages of love for the 17 children at Pastor Duncan Nyozani's Far & Wide Children's Home. “The kids are very much excited to have special food and gifts,” Pastor Duncan said on CHRISTmas. “They are very thankful.”

Happy CHRISTmas from Malawi!

Pastor Duncan also will be taking the children on holiday. They will have an opportunity to go on safari to a nearby lake for the first time. This is something they have been asking to do for several months. Climbing For Christ's sponsors responded to this request by providing funding to make the trip possible. Thanks to all the sponsors.

An additional praise report: the first action of C4C Canada was to receive the funding needed to finish sponsoring all 17 of the orphans beginning in January 2014. Several children have been without a sponsor since the start of this project. AustriAlpin, an Alberta-based company that is a long-time friend of Climbing For Christ, pledged the funds necessary to help us send US$850 per month to support the children. C4C Canada became fully operational in December 2013.

“It is really great to hear this good news,” Pastor Duncan said about the additional funding. “Praise the Lord.”
