‘One Lord, one faith, one baptism’

Climbing For Christ
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[a] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” (Matthew 28:19).
Brother Megh traveled from Kathmandu to the Mid-western district of Rolpa to visit the church there and in a neighboring district. “Now these days,” Megh reported, “there are approximately 110 (worshiping) in the Korchabang church and at the Dharmashala (church) it is going on well in fellowship.”
Climbing For Christ was used by God to fund the construction of the church at Korchabang and God’s people at Dharmashala have asked that a church be built there as well. Both church bodies sent leaders through ministry training recently.
In addition, another seven people were baptized from the church at Korchabang in the stream down the hillside. “There were two guys around 70, 72 years old,” Megh said. “At that moment, God had a wonderful plan for them.”
One of the men is a brother I met in 2012, when we first visited Korchabang. I prayed for this man and his wife. I did so again in 2013. “They were baptized at the same place we did last time,” Megh said about the latest group. “Nowadays all are growing in the faith so that angels are enjoying over them.”
“…the one hope that belongs to your call — one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.” – Ephesians 4:4-6 (ESV)
