CHRISTmas delivery of God’s precious Word
Climbing For Christ was blessed to provide funding for the purchase of 70 Urdu-language Bibles for distribution on CHRISTmas by partner ministry Save Pakistan.

“Many believers in Pakistan long to be able to read God’s Word daily, to learn and grow by its instruction and encouragement,” said Save Pakistan founder Haseeb Masih (in photo), who delivered Bibles in a program in the city of Sangla Hill in the Punjab Province.
“Access to Bibles, however, is out of reach for most people, most often due to crippling poverty. Unfortunately, very few of the Christians who attend church have Bibles. They depend on the pastor to read the Scriptures to them. Just imagine how great an impact we can make if these believers had their own Bible? Having a personal copy of God's Word helps believers understand God’s purposes, His promises, and His plan.”
That’s why Climbing For Christ has partnered with Save Pakistan to provide nearly 2,000 Bibles since October 2011.
What better gift than God’s Word on a day set aside to celebrate the birth of God’s Son?
“Save Pakistan strives to distribute as many Bibles as possible wherever we go, while teaching this wonderful news, wherever we go,” Haseeb said. “We hand out the precious Christmas gift of Bibles to the new believers who are greatly thankful to God that He blessed them with their own Bibles to study it.
“I shared with the new believers that Lord bless you with His own words in the shape of Bibles, so we need to study it deeply to grow in Jesus Christ. And they responded us that they will read it every day.
“It was really great time for us to be among them as servants of God,” Haseeb added. Sangla Hill is a city of about 200,000 with only 5 percent Christian. “They were much happy and thankful to C4C for the provision of these Bibles.
“Save Pakistan also really thankful to the C4C team, supporters and members who stand with us to provide these Bibles to the new believers in Pakistan. We are praying that Lord bless you much more and give you more opportunities for his glorious work around the world.”
That includes future work in Pakistan. At minimum, we desire to continue providing Bibles through Project Living Word. We have a goal of delivering another 500 Bibles in 2014. At a cost of US$6 per Book, we need US$3,000. Members and supporters are invited to give to this Bible-distribution project.
