Mission: Philippines 2016

Climbing For Christ’s connection to the Philippines began in 2007 when Ace Concordia joined the ministry. Ace soon formed the C4C Philippines chapter, which began leading missions in 2008. In seven years, 18 missions were completed and membership surpassed 300. There were no missions carried out in 2015.

PRAY: For strong and faithful churches to grow in Kibungan. The Kankanaey tribe is nearly half Christian, but folk religions still are practiced widely – displayed in rituals during weddings, rites of passage, planting, and medicine. The Kankanaey, a large community (nearly 250,000) that is considered among the best farmers in the country, are open to the Gospel. However, other religions and cults are trying to convert them. Pray for loving and faithful Christian testimony to show the difference between Christianity and other religions.

GIVE: To support the printing of the New Testament in the Kankanaey language and the completion of Old Testament translation so the first complete Kankanaey Bible can be delivered by C4C.
