How long have you climbed? This is my second year of climbing. Type of climbing you do: Sport, trad and ice. Highlight of climbing career: Just learning to be comfortable leading sport and now a bit of trad has been great.

How long have you been a Christian? I was raised in the church and had faith in Jesus from an early age. But in the spring of 2009 I made a conscious decision to follow Him with my whole life. Type of ministry you are blessed to serve in: I have loved working in wilderness ministry and find joy in discipling young adults.

Favorite Scripture verse (and why): Luke 15:11-32. The story of the man who had two sons is such a beautiful and convicting picture of how the Father relates to his children.

Special "God moment" you'd like to share: I often try to look back to the moment when I made the decision to put my faith in Christ and follow Him.  I had a lot of doubts at the time, but the Lord showed me that He would take me along anyway if I would agree to follow.  When I told Him that I would, I felt a huge, almost physical, weight lifted off of me and I knew that my life would be different from then on.

What does Climbing For Christ mean to you? To me, Climbing For Christ means an intersection of two passions and the opportunity to shine the light of Christ in remote places.
