Rachel Wall

Rachel Wall, with a precious child on Mission: Philippines 2013.

Nationality: American. Occupation: Collegiate Minister. Missions with C4C: Peru 2015, Philippines 2013 and 2014, and Mission: Possible 6.

How long have you climbed? Since I was little, I’ve always loved being out in God’s Creation. Type of climbing you do: Trees, and hiking/trekking. Highlight of climbing career: Mount Sneffels with my husband.

How long have you been a Christian? Since age 4. However 2006 is when I really started taking up my cross and following, not just believing. Type of ministry you are blessed to serve in: Collegiate.

Favorite Scripture verse (and why): Psalm 139. This passage is such a powerful testimony of God’s love for us. That He knows when we get up in the morning, how we spend our days, what we think about, and even what motivates our actions, speaks volumes of how important each of us is to Him.

Special "God moment" you'd like to share: Last C4C trip I had contracted what I would later find out was Giardia. I was really sick. A team member laid hands on me and prayed, instantly I felt better. That was my first experience with supernatural healing.

What does Climbing For Christ mean to you? God calls us to go and make disciples of all nations. I am blessed to do that each day here in Colorado, but am equally as blessed to go to unreached people groups with C4C and fulfill God’s plan for us.
