Raising up orphans for Jesus
Mission Moment (Wednesday, July 4, 2012)
“I'm really blessed to share that we had an orphan program (Tuesday, July 3),” reported evangelist Haseeb, the founder of Save Pakistan. “We had worship, where children raised their hands and — filled with the Holy Spirit — and there was an incredible presence of God.
“We are thankful to the Lord, who blessed us to share His love with the orphans in Pakistan. We have distributed cocked food to 100 orphans. Everybody was very happy to get meals and they enjoy it.”
Feeding the orphans.
Haseeb asked for prayer for his vision of starting a primary school to educate Christian children, fighting illiteracy in a place where 85 percent of the children are “working at brick kilns as slaves due to limited resources.
“Most of the Christians get loans from the owner and (when) they could not refund the loan at committed time (the owners) take their children slaves in bounded labor.,” Haseeb said.
The children, he said, are “living poorly and disheartened.” Save Pakistan Ministries has a vision to raise up the orphans with schooling and religious education.
