The care of God the Father

Another truckload of maize was delivered last week to the widows in Malawi. “Unspeakable joy” was the way Kingdom worker Damson Samson described the widows’ reaction to this gift.
Emily Patisi had not eaten for five days when the food arrived. “She danced all over, not understanding this blessing,” Damson reported. “She continued thanking God for such support.”

The group village head from Nasiyaya said “being a widow, taking care of three orphans, it is not easy to make life better. By receiving such support, it indicated the care of God the Father.”
Damson used the opportunity to share from Isaiah 46:4: “I will be your God throughout your lifetime – until your hair is white with age. I made you, and I will care for you. I will carry you along and save you.”
“In this we emphasized to them that God is in control, even in our old age where things seem not right,” Damson explained. “He is ready to lift us up.”
Two-hundred widows each received 15 kilograms of maize, which is food for a week.
Widows collectively celebrate the gift of food, above, and several individuals give thanks, below.
