Mission Moments: Malawi

“I have nowhere to stay,” the widow told Kingdom worker Damson Samson.
Many remain without homes months after Tropical Cyclone Freddy flooded and devastated southern Malawi. We toured the flood zone during Mission: Malawi 2023. God gave us a burden to build more homes. We responded by sending $6,800 USD to Damson for the construction of four houses for people we’d met.
Each house costs $1,700 now as the price of cement has gone up in recent months.
Damson said he is “grateful for the recent support,” which will bring to 81 the number of homes Climbing For Christ has built for those in need in Malawi dating back to pre-COVID. “There is a great change (for those receiving these houses),” Damson added.
“We are praying that the Lord should touch more to support this big number we have.”
