Another 165 Bibles given

Save Pakistan Ministries delivered Urdu Bibles on two more occasions in January:

“We have distributed about 90 Bibles to the most needy people,” Save Pakistan founder Haseeb Masih reported on Jan. 23. “You know they were much joyful to get this priceless gift, which is immortal and also brings happiness and everlasting delight in our fruitless lives. It is the Light of this world. The Light which shines in darkness. The Word of God. The Bible is the only way that can change people. We aim to win lost souls and in this way fulfilling the Great Commission of Lord Jesus Christ.”

Four days later, Save Pakistan moved to another village and delivered 75 more Bibles.

“During our outreach mission trip we got to know that there were hundreds of children who also desired to have their own Bible to study,” Haseeb said. “We want to provide them Bibles. There is a small size Bible for children. Its cost is US$3. Please consider it so that we could also provide Bibles to the children in Pakistan.”

To date, Save Pakistan has delivered 394 Bibles. This project began with the goal of providing 4,000 Bibles. Please consider giving US$6 for the purchase of one Urdu Bible in Pakistan to be shared with a new believer or US$3 for a children’s Bible.

Powerful testimony

Recently, Save Pakistan Ministries held a revival meeting in a village that its outreach team located. The street revival meeting attracted about 170 people for praise and worship.

“As I was preaching, I noticed a middle-aged man with a bottle in his hand,” evangelist Haseeb said. “He was already fully drunk and was continuously drinking during the meeting and finally fell down. He was shouting abusive words. At the close of the meeting this man was weeping with beating his head when the alter call was given. Hallelujah! God touched him. After we finished the meeting he gave the following testimony:

“ ‘I came to the meeting fully drunk. I am a drunkard for 20 years. I came to create problems in the meeting. But God touched me at the end. So I went to my usual wine shop and stood outside for two hours to know whether I have the desire of alcohol. But praise God, the desire was completely gone.’

“Praise the Lord. God touches a sinner even when he is under the influence of alcohol.”
