Families throughout the Muslim world are observing Ramadan. See Project Prayer: Ramadan 2017. In Turkey, our teams meet with as many members of Kurdish families as possible to share the Gospel message. Family ministry is extremely important to reach those following Islam.
Climbing For Christ carried out Evangelic Expeditions to Mount Ararat and eastern Turkey in 2010, 2013, 2014 and 2015. Mission: Ararat 2016 was cancelled when Turkey began taking military action against the Kurdish people during the summer of 2016.
Turkey is ranked 37th on the World Watch List of the 50 countries in which the persecution of Christians is worst.
