Mission: Uganda 2015

Pastor Rich Friday lived his life in western Uganda, but it was not until he caught the vision of Climbing For Christ’s mission that this C4C member realized his calling to preach in the nearby Rwenzori Mountains. We have partnered to take the Gospel where other Ugandan pastors cannot or will not go.

PRAY: That nominal Christians would become disciples. The majority of Ugandans profess to be Christian, but “maintain materialistic attitudes, polygamous practices and non-biblical worldviews,” according to Operation World (a prayer guide to the nations). Syncretistic practices and false teachings also plague the growing church. For many of the 86 percent of the population claiming to be Christian, being a “Christian” simply means not being a Muslim.

GIVE: To support work being done in the Rwenzori mountains by an indigenous ministry partner.
